Privacy Policy

UniPath is operated by Prometheus Agent Company for Proprietary Software Design and Programming ("Prometheus", "we", "us"). We respect your privacy; this policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

1) What we collect

If you create an account we store your email address (and an optional name) through our authentication provider. If you sign in, your favourites, checklist and preferences are synced to your account (via Supabase) so they follow you across devices and are restored when you sign back in; as a guest they stay only on your device. If you contact us (a problem, suggestion or advertising message), we receive the name, email and message you send.

2) How we use it

To run the app, sign you in, and reply to your messages. We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising.

3) Service providers

We use Supabase (authentication) and Resend (email delivery) to operate the app. Sign-up, password-reset and reply emails are sent through Resend; messages you submit are emailed to our team.

4) Where your data is processed

These providers operate on servers outside Kuwait, so your personal data is transferred and processed abroad. By creating an account or contacting us, you consent to this cross-border processing, which is necessary to provide the service.

5) Retention

We keep your account data until you delete your account or ask us to. Contact messages are kept for up to 12 months.

6) Your choices & rights

You can sign out anytime. "Reset all data" in Settings clears data on your device. "Delete account" in Settings permanently deletes your account and email from our authentication provider. You may also contact us to access, correct or delete your data.

7) Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your data, consistent with Kuwait's Law No. 20 of 2014 on Electronic Transactions. No method of transmission is fully secure.

8) Children

UniPath is intended for prospective university students. You must be at least 13 to use it; if you are under 18, use it with a parent or guardian. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the contact form.

9) Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the "last updated" date; for material changes we will provide notice in the App. Continued use means you accept the update.
